The Smithy is now an open-plan, twin-bedded apartment. It is more spacious than previously. Double occupancy is £70 and £12 for each subsequent guest per night. Single occupancy is £60 per night . The kitchenette has a two ring hob and small electric oven, fridge, toaster, kettle and microwave. The living area has two easy chairs which convert to single beds if desired. (However,4 people in the Smithy would be a squash). There is also a dining table, chairs and TV with DVD player and a shower room with WC and basin. Plus, if the weather is nice, there is an area to sit outside the door.The size and layout of the apartment is shown on the plan which can be seen on "The Gallery" page

A very cosy, inviting apartment. Everything is to hand. The seating converts very neatly into two extra beds. The new sleeping area has two 3ft single beds, leaving more space to relax in the seating area. Because the room is double aspect it is very light, airy and sunny. Outside there is plenty of room for barbecues or for sitting and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

You will find rest and relaxation at Dorney Self Catering Apartments. Take time to watch the world go by. Take a stroll up to the lock and watch the boats, or if you are feeling energetic keep walking along the river towards Windsor. You will notice the Windsor Racecourse on the other side of the river as you go. You may also see boys rowing on the river practising for their school teams. French Brothers operate boat trips from Windsor up to Boveney lock and back. You can also hire small rowing boats in Windsor by the hour.
